Welcome to the Telesis Preparatory Academy Intel Essentials Blog

What is a blog. Blogs, short for weblogs, are used to share information and opinions with readers and to solicit feedback and discussion. They often take the form of a journal and are regularly updated with new entries.

You will be creating a blog to serve as a record of your learning as we go through the various modules. Reflect on the the focus of Module 1 and respond to the blog entry.

This module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways:

  3. As a newly trained teacher, I am aware and I am using many of these techniques, such as backwards design and by using multiple types of formal and informal assessment.

  4. Design lessons and units that are relevant to the students and at the same time learning the required standards set for social studies.

  5. It's reminded me of my role as a collaborative instructor, using tech resources, other teachers, and the background knowledge of my individual students to enhance learning.

  9. I enjoyed the extended outlets for new tech resources and the varied ways for assessments. The ability to integrate the Az. State Standards easily is also an advantage. Finally, it is noteworthy to find out that this same information can also be used for Tech Paths. Susan C.

  11. I agree that structure is security for students. If students will follow the structure asked for they can be easily responsible for what comes next. When they stretch themselves they are so pleased with their success and it continues.

  12. Good teaching means good facilitating, provided project-based learning curricula is succinctly and effectively introduced.
